Our rates and terms for standard services are detailed below. If your item needs a little extra help, we can usually quote you an Add-on Service (see below) to get your item in ready-to-sell condition.
Getting items to your neighborhood Sella rep
It's free to drop off items with your local Sella rep.
For $10, a Sella rep will meet you at your door, load up a trunk's worth of items and take them away to be sold.
If you're in our extended service area, we include an additional mileage fee to compensate our Sella rep for the longer drive. We'll let you know the total cost before you schedule a pickup, so you can factor that into your decision.
Ten iPhones will fit in a shoebox, but try as they might, our Sella reps can't safely store ten microwaves in the same small space. For oversize items, we charge according to size so we can adequately compensate our local Sella reps for safely handling and storing them.
Storage fees are billed in 30 day increments, starting the day after items are sent to you for listing approval. After listings end, there's a 14 day grace period for you to decide what you'd like to do with unsold items. If you re-list them for 30 days, you'll be billed for another 30 days of storage.
Dimensions in the table below include any necessary boxes or packaging to safely store fragile items. At this time, we don't accept any Huge items (see below).

|Bulky items are too big to fit in a USPS Priority mail box, but they don’t meet the criteria for being Large (see below) either.|

|Large items have at least one dimension that's longer than 24 inches, or at least two dimensions (length, width or height) greater than 15 inches.|

|Extra large items have at least one dimension that's longer than 36 inches, or at least two dimensions (length, width or height) greater than 24 inches.|
|We can't accept any items that take two people to move or won't fit in the trunk of a standard sedan. Practically speaking, that means no items weighing more than 40lbs or with any dimension longer than 48 inches. For example, we can't take most furniture, floor lamps, adult bicycles, mini fridges, or skis.|
If there's no Sella rep serving your neighborhood and you have relatively small and valuable items, shipping them to the nearest neighborhood Sella rep is a good option. We'll provide you with a prepaid FedEx label, then bill you for the exact amount FedEx charges us.
Preparing, listing & selling your items online
Our experts take care of everything to give your item the best shot at selling within 30 days, at a price you're happy with.
An add-on is a service provided by Sella to help get your item in ready-to-sell condition. If we think it will increase your take-home profit, we'll let you know the cost and get your approval before doing any work.

Because every situation is unique, there is no set price for add-ons. Instead we provide a quote and get your approval before completing any work.
We list on eBay, Craigslist and more to reach tons of buyers and get the best price for your stuff.
Some great items just don't find a buyer within 30 days, and some high value items warrant a 60 or 90 day sales strategy because getting the best price can mean a difference of $50, $100 or even $250.
For $5, our experts will re-list items on local and national marketplaces, adjust prices, respond to buyers and negotiate sales for another 30 days.
Completing the sale: meetups, money, shipping & insurance
When an item sells via a local marketplace, the Sella rep handling the item takes it out of storage and meets up in person with the buyer or delivery driver. If for some reason the buyer flakes or decides not to purchase the item, you aren't charged extra.
If your item sells online, a Sella rep will pack and ship it for you.
Packing and shipping costs are passed on to the buyer so you make the same profit as you would from a local sale. Learn more about Local vs. Online Sales.

If your item is large or fragile, a Sella rep will take it to a retail location (e.g. a UPS Store) where they have the right box sizes and supplies to safely pack and ship just about anything.

Some marketplaces charge commissions when an item sells.
When we list items on marketplaces like eBay, we pass on the added costs to the buyer so you make the same profit as you would from a local sale. Learn more about Local vs. Online Sales.
